He was predeceased by: his brother Donald Kieffer; and his sons, Dennis Eugene Kieffer and Rodney Lane Kieffer. He is survived by: his grandfather Matt Kieffer; his spouse Dorothy Ione Aust; his children, Candace Stark (Dan) of Evergreen, CO, Randy Kieffer (Susan) of Sturgis and Richard Kieffer of Sturgis; and his siblings, Elvera Gilles, Bonnie Evans (Gene), Irene Barker, Kepner Kieffer (California) of Rockerville, SD. and Raymond Kieffer (Rose) of Rockerville, SD.. He is also survived by four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
