He was predeceased by : his parents, Edwin Hanson and Marie Hanson (Shiernbeck); and his son Edwin. He is survived by : his former wife Carol Moore; his wife Ana Martinez; his children, Frank Hanson (Belinda) of Watertown, SD and Angela Callahan (Jason) of Watertown, SD; his step-children, Elena and Julio Antonio Martinez; and his half-sister Normay (Stewart). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2020 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A memorial service was held on Thursday, January 21st 2021 at 4:00 PM at the Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel (1311 4th St NE, Watertown, SD 57201).
