Genevieve E. Brenden Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Genevieve E. Brenden of Watertown, South Dakota, born in Raymond, South Dakota, who passed away on November 15, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Lambert and Minnie Lambert (Mehlberg); her husband Ellsworth Brenden; her daughter Sherlyn Brenden; her son-in-law Randy Shelsta; and her siblings, Marvin, Clifford, Melvin, Mavis, Evelyn, Delane and LaVonne.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Melissa Plucker, Kara Wills, Jenni White, Marcie Brenden, Lindsey Holmquest, Caitlin Russel, Chad Brenden, Michael Brenden, Ryan Shelsta, Christopher Brenden and Justin Elkins; her children, Carol Shelsta of Lee's Summit, MO, Charles Brenden (Susan) of Sioux Falls, SD, Steven Brenden (Sue) of Rapid City, SD, Janet Elkins (Jeff) of Watertown, SD and Tim Brenden of Watertown, SD; and her sisters-in-law, Shirley Brenden and Mavis Brenden. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
