She was predeceased by: her parents, Irvin "Jack" and Viola "Vi" Raethz (McCormich); her husband David O. Johnson; her brothers, Richard and Larry Raethz; her sister-in-law Judy Raethz; her niece Carmalie Raethz; and her nephew Jovin Raethz.
She is survived by: her daughters, Darcy Raethz of Watertown, SD and Denise Biller (Ryan) of Clear Lake, SD; her stepchildren, Shayne Johnson (Shannon) of Burlington, NC, Kevin Johnson (Heather) of Graham, NC and Lisa Johnson of Redfield, SD; and her grandchildren, Marah, Austin, Elizabeth Biller, Brooklyn, Morgan Johnson, Justin Lindner, Trevor Shepherd, Ole, Emily, Sophie Johnson, Christopher, Bryanna Johnson and Brandon Whitley. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
