He is survived by: his mother Leona Wessel (Gilles); his wife Luana; his daughters, Jessica Douglas (Carl) and Glinda Wessel; his grandchildren, Rhys and Robert James Cooley; his sons, Garth Wessel (Sienna) and Alan Wessel; his grandchild Rayna Wessel; and his brother Joseph Wessel.
