It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lavern Hinz (Westport, South Dakota), who passed away on January 21, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Hinz and Florance Hinz (Nelson); and his spouse Gloria Hilgemann. He is survived by: his children, Susan Hirsekorn (Dennis), Hudson Bay, Duane Hinz (Vonda), Karen Yost (David) and Paul Hinz; and his sister Ardel Mast of Florence, OR. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
