With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Erma Elaine Carda of White Lake, South Dakota, born in Aberdeen, South Dakota, who passed away on July 5, 2022 at the age of 96. She was predeceased by : her parents, Art Knie and Pauline Knie (Berndt); her husband John Carda; her daughter Bette Hirsch; her sons-in-law, Duke Goodell and Denny Hirsch; her sister Dorothy Thorpe; and her nephew Keith Breidenbach.

She is survived by : her children, Donna Goodell of Sun City, AZ, Linda Smith (Mike) of Kimball, SD, Carol Gillen (Ron) of White Lake, SD and David Carda (Bunny) of Chelsea, SD.
