It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Theodore Meier of White Lake, South Dakota, who passed away on November 9, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred F. Meier and Maude Meier (Mauer); and his siblings, Ralph, Frederick, William Meier, Florence Tingle and Loretta Glissendorf.
He is survived by: his wife Florence Tiede of Parkston, SD.; his children, Daniel Meier (Karen) of White Lake, SD, Janet Huber (Gary) of Thornton, CO, Kay Sommers (Ronald) of Fishersville, VA and Todd Meier (Barb) of Kennebec, SD; his grandchildren, Brenda Melcher (Kent) of Hanover, MN, Scott Meier (Kim) of White Lake, SD, Dustin Meier (Michelle) of Bryant, SD, Jenny Romero (Robert) of Denver, CO, Melissa Sixta (David) of Highlands Ranch, CO, Kyle Meier (Mallory) of Pierre, SD, Megan Hullinger (Toby) of Mitchell, SD and Kevin Meier (Angela) of Sturgis, SD; his great grandchildren, Jasper, Skylar, Hannah, Madison, Creedence, Lukas Meier, Layla, Gavin Sixta, Holder, Hallie Hullinger, Jace and Zoe Romero; his brother Richard Meier (Glayn) of White Lake, SD; and his sister-in-law Arlene Hanten of Mitchell, SD.. He is also survived by four children, eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
A private family graveside service will be held, due to COVID, in White Lake Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be directed to the White Lake Cemetery Association or the White Lake Senior Citizens Center.
