She was loved and cherished by many people including : her children, Kevin Hein (Mary Ellen) of White, SD, Lee Hein (Darla) of Arlington, SD, Tina Hein of Brookings, SD, Christle Scott of Brookings, SD and Candase DeVries (Todd) of Elkton, SD. She was also cherished by 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers and 1 sister in Maine and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 15th 2021 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rude's Funeral Home (105 W 8th St S, Brookings, SD 57006).
