With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lonuld Gene Balo (Whitewood, South Dakota), born in Deadwood, South Dakota, who passed away on March 9, 2018 at the age of 57. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Ilene; his sister Sharon; and his parents-in-law, Melvin Heggem and Martha Heggem. He is survived by: his wife Mona; his father Guy; his children, Guy Melvin (Dawn Vassalotti) and Etta Knuth (Mike); his grandchildren, Garrett William, Levi Lonuld and Sophie Rose Knuth; his sisters, Kathy Kester (Jube) of New Raymer, CO, Kyla Thompson (Gene), Whitewood and Sherri Knippling (Barry); his friends, Stan Holsclaw and Sharon Holsclaw; and also Whitewood Valley.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to the Immanuel Lutheran Church.
