She was predeceased by : her mother Ruth Scissons (Sigafoos); her husband Elmer Bartels; her children, Sharon Hysell and Roger Bartels; her grandson Kelly Vollmer; and her parent Thomas Scissons.
She is survived by : her children, Barbara Olson (Arnold) of Platte, Deborah "Debb" Vollmer of Winner and David Bartels of Winner; and her sister Beverly Ruhkamp of Havre, Montana. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
