It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna Jean Burkel of Woonsocket, South Dakota, born in Huron, South Dakota, who passed away on July 17, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by : her husband Donald Burkel of Woonsocket; her children, Danaee Marquette of Aurora, SD, Jona Hokanson (Mike Wanous) of Huron, SD, Mathew Burkel (Sarah) of Woonsocket, SD and Curtis Burkel of Woonsocket, SD.; and her sister Rolanda Larive of Huron, SD. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grand children.
