He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin E. Hollingsworth and Cornie Inman Hollingsworth; his brothers, Harold, Edward and Larry Hollingsworth; and his stepgrandson Daniel Gant.

He is survived by: his wife Susan Hollingsworth of Adamsville, TN; his son Jimmy Hollingsworth (Tina) of Adamsville, TN; his brother-in-law Philip Landreth (Barbara) of Bolivar, TN; his nephew Danny Hollingsworth of Adamsville, TN; and his aunt Jewel McDaniel of Adamsville, TN. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
