It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billie Alexander McMurry (Adamsville, Tennessee), who passed away on December 1, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Willie Hobart and Ethel Hopper; her former life partner Howard Alexander; her husband J. T. McMurry; and her sister Jean Sheffield.
She is survived by : her children, Larry Alexander of Sweeny and Sherry Hall of Savannah, Tennessee; and her grandchildren, Jeff Alexander of Sweeny, Keith Alexander of Sweeny, Kevin Alexander of Sweeny, Angie Hurst of Savannah, Tennessee, Lindsay Franks of Savannah, Tennessee and Molly Gilchrist of Savannah, Tennessee. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren; and eight great great grandchildren.
