She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Marshall and Reba Marshall; her spouse E. J. Hughes; her sisters, Jo Brush (Tom) and Mary M. Parker; and her nephew Mike Hughes.
She is survived by: her siblings-in-law, Jane Littlefield Hughes of Franklin and Mgr. Billy Parker of Nashville; her sibling's children, Carlyn Hughes, Debra H. Herrin (Mike), Anita H. French (Randell), Lisa H. Short, Shelia Brush Payne (Donnie), Keith Hughes (Kathryn), David Hughes (Gina), Jeffrey Hughes (Neeka) and Joey Parker (Ann Stevenson); and her great-nephews, Stevenson Alan Parker and William Hughes Parker.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to First United Methodist Church in Adamsville or to the Patsy Cain Education Foundation Fund at Adamsville Elementary School.
