She was predeceased by : her parents, Millard Thomas and Nettie Nix Thomas; her husbands, Farris Alexander and Ennis Brasher; her daughter Kathy Donaldson; her sons-in-law, Terry Donaldson, Dean Shelby and Larry Cooksey; and her grandchildren, Christopher Alexander, Larry Cooksey Jr., Tracy Cooksey and Melody Shelby.
She is survived by : her daughters, Sandra Cooksey and Barbara Shelby; her sister Peggy Thomas; and her grandchildren, Tina Cooksey, Stephanie McCullough (Bobby), Deanne Brown (Brian), Stacy Donaldson, Jessica Shelby, Jonathan Cooksey (Heather) and Zach Shelby. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.
