With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linton Gerald Smith of Afton, Tennessee, who passed away on January 8, 2022 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Smith and Quinnie Hazel Justice Smith; and his siblings, Dale, James, Paul, Cleotis, Jessie, Erma Ramey and Nellie Jean Chaffins.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Jenetta Grizzle Smith; his children, Kevin Smith of Afton, Johnny Smith of Bulls Gap, Tommy Smith of Jonesboro and Anita Lester of Afton; and his siblings, Doffis Smith of Mouthcard and Lydia Ramey of Mouthcard. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
