It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger C. Bowman of Afton, Tennessee, who passed away on January 4, 2022, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Eugene Bowman and Viola Bowman; his sister Brenda Byrd; his nephew Jonathan Hicks; his parents-in-law, Billy and Pearlie Ottinger; and his brother-in-law J. B. Ottinger.

He is survived by : his wife Miranda Bowman; his son Derick; his daughter-in-law Kimberly Bowman; his grandchildren, Keeley, Rylee and Isaac Bowman; his brother Ricky; his sister-in-law Glenda Bowman; his sisters, Juanita (Phil Hicks), Barbara (Bowman), Dale Waddle and Mary Alice (Ronnie Gosnell); his siblings-in-law, Linda and Eddie Short; his nieces and nephews, Tim, Wilma Hicks, Cindy, Brian Wright, Cathy, Craig Osborne, Richard, Tina Bowman, Chad, Cortney Bowman, Ashley, Jordan Tipton, Heather McPherson, Ryan, Heather Witt, Chris Gosnell, BJ Short, Steven Waddle and Scott Waddle; and his caregivers, Tammy Ambrose, Kimberly Bowman, Marie Arrwood, Dr. Montgomery and Dr. Patel. He is also survived by friends and neighbors.
