He was predeceased by : his parents, Alfred M. Jones Jr. and Mary Esther Bledsoe Jones. He is survived by : his close friend Janice Whitehead; his daughter Jennifer Myers (Ben) of Clayton, NC; his brothers, Robert Jones (Susie) of Gaithersburg, MD and Ralph Jones of Arden, NC; his grandchildren, Ceana, Ally, Edyn Myers and Makenzie Whitehead; his nieces and nephews, Christopher Jones, Catherine Bohne, Michael Jones, Tracey Jones Rich, Jason Jones and Brandon Jones; and his friend Richard Lawrence Garrett.
