He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Freeman and Josie Mae Cox Freeman. He is survived by: his wife Willie Mae Freeman; his great grandchildren, Jada Sutton and Faith Frierson; his siblings, Ginetta Bogan, Shirley Freeman, Emma Wilson (James) and Alfred Freeman Jr.; his siblings-in-law, Sherlene Love, Debra Reeves (Thomas), Pamela Stokes, Paula May (Gregory), Beverly Askew (James), Veronica Rucker, Barbara Hunt, Dana Hill, Mary Yarbrough (Eric), William Hunt (Mary), James Hunt (Martha), Terry Harris and Rickey Hutch (Antonia); his aunts, Vanessa Toliver, Ruth Hurt and Gloria Armstrong; and his uncle Roy West. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
