He is survived by: his daughter Melo Pearl Holland; his brother Benton Smith (Juanita); his grandchildren, Jeff Holland, Michelle Peeler (Frank) and Richard Holland (Shelley); and his great grandchildren, Heather Bosco, Brandon Hill, Steven, Zachary Holland, Hannah, Alex Peeler and Nikki Holland. He is also survived by 5 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
