She was predeceased by: her parents, Oakley Knight and Gladys Holmes Knight; and her siblings, Wilma Wauford, Lucille Smith and Ebby Knight.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Johnson of Lewisburg, Beverley Young (Robbie) of McEwen, Walter Dale Yates (Bonnie) of Columbia and Tommy Yates (Sandra) of Antioch; and her sister Shirley Yates of Chapel Hill.
