It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James M. Whitus Jr. (Antioch, Tennessee), who passed away on December 12, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Millard and Roxey Whitus; his sister Ruth Burgess; and his former wife Reba Jo Whitus. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen Whitus; his sibling's children, Lynn Sanders (Don) and Bruce Burgess (Becca); his stepsons, Wayne Sidler and Jeff Sidler; and his great-nephew Zachary Sanders.

Memorial contributions may be made to Alive Hospice.
