We are sad to announce that on March 9, 2020, at the age of 86, Richard Hobby Sr. (Antioch, Tennessee) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Hobby and Bessie Hobby (Waters); his daughter Lisa Forward; his grandson Tyler James Hobby; and his siblings, Lonie Marie Pettus, Florence Standridge, Calvin M. Hobby and James C..
He is survived by: his wife Ida Faye Whitt; his sons, Richard D. Hobby, Jr. and James C. Hobby (Virginia); his grandchildren, Katelyn Peyton (Justin), Kelsey Hobby, Gabriel Hobby, James Forward, Jason Forward and Falicia Forward; his stepgranddaughters, Jessica Bryant and Ryanne Stamper; his great grandchild Jason Peyton; and his siblings, Ethel Maddox (Carl), Charles Whitt (Amanda) and Sam, Jr. Whitt (Pauline). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
