Faye Merrell Hand Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Faye Merrell Hand of Ardmore, Tennessee, who passed away on August 6, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Faye Merrell leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Fountain Merrell and Delia Bell Ferguson Merrell. She is survived by: her husband William Hand; her daughters, Kelly Brewer and Erin Ferguson; her sister Loretta Ekis; and her grandson Garrett Baldwin.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home (27186 Main St, Ardmore, AL 35739). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Gatlin Cemetery (28574 State Line Rd, Ardmore, AL 35739).
