He was predeceased by: his parents, Arden W. Nichols and Gladys Nichols; and his siblings, Arden Nichols, Jr. and Loretta Houdeshell. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Nichols (Bowker); his children, Paul Nichols (Connie), Wendell Nichols (Daina) and Angie Duncan (John); his siblings, Eddie Nichols, Sr. and Judy Ryan; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Duncan (Sara Jo), Amber Pennington (Gordon), Amy Duncan, Michael Nichols (Danielle), Steven Duncan (Danielle) and Randy Nichols (Kortney); and his great grandchildren, Ryder, Tatum, Isla, Grant, Wesley, Luke, Josiah, Piper, Haddie and Elowen.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cheatham County Funeral Home (117 Elizabeth St, Ashland City, TN 37015). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
