It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sue Hunter Shivers (Ashland City, Tennessee), who passed away on September 26, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Buford Hunter and Doris Hunter (Smith); and her brothers, David and Murray Hunter. She is survived by: her husband Bobby Ray Shivers; her daughters, Angela Shivers Pryor and Natalie Shivers Garrett (Shane); her brother Billy Ray Hunter (Peggy); her grandchildren, Hunter Pryor (Greyson), Peyton Garrett (Aaylah Martinez), Paisley Garrett and Laken Garrett; her pet Chloe; and her close friends, Pat Nicholson (Harris) and Elaine Bell (Perry). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Cheatham County Funeral Home (117 Elizabeth St, Ashland City, TN 37015). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
