It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Thelma Roderick of Athens, Tennessee, born in Monroe, Tennessee, who passed away on January 23, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Sherlin Cook and Sarah Moses Cook; her husband William Ross Roderick; her children, Jerry Roderick (Jill) and Bernice Sneed (Sam); her grandchildren, Samuel Ross Sneed and Pamala Elaine Elliston; her great grandchild Avery Collins; and her siblings, Imogene Moses, Anna Mae Moses, Gladys Biship, Albert Junior Cook and Will Clarence Cook.

She is survived by : her children, Geraldean "Dean" Cline of Athens and Daryle Roderick (Carolyn) of Athens; her great grandchild Aliyah Dean Collins; and her brother Fred Cook (Virginia) of Athens. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Due to the current COVID-19 situation, face masks are recommended and social distancing practices will be observed.
