He was predeceased by : his parents, Cecil Farris and Pauline Bunch Farris; his sister Judy Lynn Farris Walker; and his uncle Jack Hicks. He is survived by : his daughters, Jessica Sprague (Brandon) of Athens and Laken Farris of Athens; his grandsons, Easton Musnicki and Elijah Hill; his siblings, Cathy Stone (Olice) of Athens, Lisa Crabtree (Tim) of Riceville, Sharon Russell of Etowah, Tammy Upton (Darris) of Knoxville, Bobby Farris (Kim) of Athens and Jackie Farris of Etowah; his aunt Mary Bunch Hicks; his nephew Tyler Bain; and his close friends, David O'Daniel, Sharon Massingale and Tracy Matthews.

Visitation was held on Friday, February 26th 2021 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ziegler Funeral Home (521 W Madison Ave, Athens, TN 37303).

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the McMinn County Humane Society.
