In bidding Laurice Pickens adieu, let us not mourn the silence that now fills the spaces Laurice Pickens once occupied, but rather celebrate the vibrant colors she painted upon the canvas of our lives. For while she may have departed from this earthly realm, her spirit remains a beacon of light, guiding us through the darkest of nights.

She was predeceased by : her husband Marion Estes Kelly. She is survived by : her children, Cheryl Thaxton Lowdermilk (Warren) of Atoka, TN, Cindy Pickens Donovan of Atoka, Charles Raymond Kelly (Mary) of Atoka and Terry Pickens of Wewahitchka, FL. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Forest Hill East Cemetery (2440 Whitten Rd, Memphis, TN 38133). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
