It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joy Lue Holt (Atwood, Tennessee), who passed away on June 19, 2018, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Archie Carter and Effie Duffy Carter; her husband Thomas Jefferson Holt, Sr; and her siblings, Johnny "Buddy" Carter, Catherine Carter and Helen Bullington.

She is survived by : her children, Thomas Jefferson Holt, Jr, Patricia Spain (Allen) of Washington, Toni Wallace (Gary) of Milan, Brenda Sue Bray (Terry) of Atwood, Dee Tines (Monte) of Parsons, Sherry Ann Levine (Jon) of California and Susan Holt Cox (Brent) of Milan; and her sister Ruth Lifsey of Milan.
