We are sad to announce that on October 17, 2021, at the age of 79, Freddie Joe Maxey of Bartlett, Tennessee, born in Memphis, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, G. B. Maxey and Bonnie Maxey; and his siblings, Clayton "Toby" Maxey, Sandra Rue and Barbara Keats.

He is survived by: his wife Marie Maxey; his children, Kevin Maxey, Scott Maxey, Ann Marie Hatley and Todd Maxey; his grandchildren, Peyton Maxey, Brittney Maxey, Rachel Hatley (Seth) and Jacob Hatley; his great grandchild Elijah Horton; and his brother Gary Bruce Maxey (Ellen). He is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to Bartlett Hills Baptist Church or charity of the donor's choice.
