She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Ladell Thompson; her parents, Ruby Fortune Burnette and John Ross Burnette; and her brother Alfred Burnette. She is survived by: her children, Dr. Charles Thompson (Belinda Thompson) of Cordova, TN, Tommy Thompson (Kendrick Thompson) of Fisherville, TN, Charlotte Martin (Troy Martin) and Martha Cunningham (Jim Cunningham III) of Bartlett, TN.; her great grandchildren, Michelle McCollum (Kevin), Nathan, Andrew, Daniel, Mollie Peery (Clint), Jonathan, Brooklyn, Meredith Thompson-Millie Thompson, Staci Hissong (James), Makenna, Troy A. Martin (Amy), Charli Martin, Logan Jackson, Kristie Bowen (Scott), Preston, Piper, Casey Cunningham, Caylee, Ceighan, Sumner Thompson and Lizzie Thompson; and her brother Jewell "Joe" Burnette of Bartlett, TN. She is also survived by nine grandchildren.
