He was predeceased by: his parents, W. T. Butler and Dortha Butler; his siblings, Alma Joanne Doyle and William Thomas Butler Jr.; and his son-in-law Dustin Lewis.
He is survived by: his daughter Amanda Lewis; his grandchildren, Payton Butler of Collierville, Tennessee., Chloe Faith Lewis of Collierville, Tennessee., DJ Lewis of Collierville, Tennessee. and Cashton Lewis of Collierville, Tennessee.; his sisters, Gussie Louise Weaver of Hickory Withe, Brenda Doyle-McKnight (Sims) of Mason, Wanda Anderson of Millington and Barbara Holly of Memphis; and his brother-in-law James Doyle of Medon.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel (10670 US-64, Somerville, TN 38068). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
