He was predeceased by: his father William Elmoe Gateley; his wife Shirley Gateley; his brother William D. Gateley; and his sibling's children, Megan Dale and Joseph Gamble.
He is survived by: his mother Evelyn Lena Gateley (Schroeder); his siblings, Gayona (Samuel Randolph), Sheryll Lynn Gamble and Robert (Gina Gateley); his daughter Jennie; his grandchildren, Caleb and Emily Eldridge; and his siblings' children, Marcia, Amber, Stephanie, Erica, Ace, Jason, Joshua, April and William Nathan. He is also survived by cousins, and special friends.
