He is survived by : his father Vernon Robert Hickman; his sister Champ; his wife Cynthia "Cindy" Lynn Russell Hickman; his daughter Briana Lynn Hickman; his siblings, Rhonda Hemby (Timmy Hemby) of Finger, TN and Jay Hickman of Henderson, TN.; and his nieces and nephews, Grant Hemby of Jackson, TN, Drew Hemby of Foley, AL., Hope Leffingwell Butler of Henderson, TN., Meghing Leffingwell Russell of Henderson, TN. and Jaiden Hickman of Henderson, TN..

At the end of his life, Brian made the decision to donate his body to the Anatomical Bequest Program at Union University in Jackson TN.
