He is survived by : his wife Patricia Hollingsworth Akers of Paris, TN.; his children, Roy Akers (Wendy) of Big Sandy, TN, Tommy Akers (Jessica) of Big Sandy, TN, Chris Akers of Big Sandy, TN, John Pardue (Brenda) of Bruceton, TN. and Kayla Pardue of Bruceton, TN.; and his grandchildren, Sammy, Nova Leigh, Ashton, Artemas, Aberiel (Abe), Atticus, Elizabeth, Hannah, Jake, Luke and Kycen.
