He was predeceased by : his parents, Clarence Malcolm and Eva Malcolm; his wife Virginia Malcolm; and his siblings, Harold, Bill, Fred Malcolm and Carolyn Malcolm.

He is survived by : his daughter Robin Templin (Jim); his sisters-in-law, Lois Hall and Jean Burnette; his close friends, Allan Bradley and Mike Yeats; his partner Buck; and also, Jonathan Fleenor, Cathy Fleenor and Doug Fleenor. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; special friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a local animal shelter of your choosing in memory of James.
