She was predeceased by : her parents, Carmen Dean and Francine Goodman Pinkston; her husband Harold Barnett; her son Robert Lewis Earhardt; and her sister Diane Malachowski.

She is survived by : her daughters, Bernia Barnett Nelms (Katy), Gail Barnett Agnelly (Robert "Tiger" Agnelly), Patricia Diane Barnett Chase and Margaret Barnett Sigurdaottir (Hordur Olafsson); and her sister Patricia Hicks. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandson, and several nieces and nephews.
