As Rita Louise departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Rita Louise. Though Rita Louise may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Harrison and Jane McNeill Harrison; her husband George "Ed" Thompson; her daughter Sandra Jean Thompson; and her stepdaughter Gwendolyn Thompson.
She is survived by: her children, Scott Thompson (Teresa), Lisa Gauntt (Steve), Richard Thompson (Nancy) and Tony Thompson (Rebecca); her brothers, Larry Harrison (Janice) and Darrel Harrison (Ada); and her siblings-in-law, Cecil Carter and Helen Skelton. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
