He was predeceased by: his parents, Hassel Boggs and June Kiser Boggs; his siblings, Ronnie Boggs and Ruth Ann Hilton; and his grandson Tim Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Patty Dye Boggs; his sons, David Boggs (Rachel), Kiser Boggs, Jimmy Jones (Leslie), John Jones (Stephanie), Shane Boggs (Christa) and Benjamin Jones; his grandchildren, Joe, Emily Boggs, John Christian, Jett Jones, Brittany Dye, Kendal, Morgan, Seth Boggs, Jessica Stacy and Katie Patrick; and his aunt Erma Jo Fielding.
