He was predeceased by : his parents, Richard "Dick" and Ann Sparkman Willis; and his sister Carol Willis. He is survived by : his wife Lois Harris Willis; his children, Joyce Willis, Kalley Willis, Jenna Brooks (Davie), Andrew Willis (Moriah) and Grace Willis; his grandchildren, Tyler Willis, Kylie Brooks, Logan Brooks and Eden Willis; his siblings, Robert Willis, John Willis, Sue Beth Willis and Mark Willis; and his close friend David Brooks.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to New Life Baptist Church, 1000 Hendrickson Lane, Bluff City, TN 37618.
