She was predeceased by: her parents, James Canter and Flossie Myers Canter; her husband William Hicks (Bill); her son Phil Hicks; and her siblings, Millard Canter, Cecil Canter, J. E. Canter, Helen Canter Helton and Billie Canter Pipkin.
She is survived by: her children, Butch Hicks (Patti) of Stephenson, Virginia and Janet Glover (Greg) of Bluff City; her grandsons, Brian Hicks (Sara) of Stephenson and Allen Glover (Brittany) of Johnson City, Tennessee; her great grandchildren, Chloe, Riley Hicks and Berkley Glover; her brother-in-law Johnny Hicks (Anna Lee); her cousin Mary Canter Helton of Surgoinsville, Tennessee.; and also Sue Perry.
