She was predeceased by : her parents, Shirley Neal and Neva Kate Sanford Clayton. She is survived by : her children, Kevin Gray of Winder, Adam Bain of Savannah, Tennessee and Avery Clayton of Seward, Alaska; her brother Kenneth Varnell of McDonough, Georgia; and her grandchildren, Clayton Bain of Savannah, Lainey Bain of Savannah and Haleigh Connor of Hampton, Georgia. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
