He is survived by: his stepchildren, Gil Gibbs and Melinda Gibbs; his sibling's children, Sandra Heaps (Jimmy) and Gary Maxwell; his great-niece Magen Thigpen (Drew); and his granddaughters, Kimberly Neill and Samantha Rikard. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
