Sarah Meek Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sarah Meek of Braden, Tennessee, who passed away on June 1, 2020 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bedford Turner McCulley and Addie McCulley (Phillips); her husband Charles Escue Meek; her sons, David Howard Booth, Charles Ronald Meek and Paul Allen Meek; her grandson Jonathan Wade Stroud; her siblings, Lewis Bedford McCulley, Isaac Durell McCulley, Bedford Uzelle McCulley, S. L. McCulley, Albert Lee McCulley, James Walter McCulley, Nancy Mary Ann Casey (McCulley), Gertrude M. Taverna (McCulley) and Easter Bell Eleanor Williams (McCulley); and her close friend Mary Criswell (McAfee).
She is survived by: her brother Jack Norris McCulley of Gallaway; her daughter Melinda Ann Reed (Joe) of Memphis; her daughters-in-law, Jocelyn Lee Booth (Gruben) of St. Charles, IL and Rita N. Meek Ferrell (Rogers) of Covington, TN; her grandchildren, Becky Wallace (Kevin) of Decaturville, TN, Lee Brandon Meek (Taylor) of Covington, TN, Melissa Leigh Sykora (Sean) of Brookside Village, TX, Sarah Ann Zimmermann (Bryan) of Elburn, IL. and Jennifer Leah Booth of St. Charles, IL; her great grandchildren, Tyler Lovell of Millington, Allie Grace Lovell of Mason, TN, Wyatt, Kate Meek of Covington, TN, Liliana and Michael David Zimmermann of Elburn, IL; and her sisters-in-law, Ruby McCulley (Crisp), Francis Hill (Meek) and Gracie Meek (Bullock). She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
