He was predeceased by: his parents, William Orr and Josephine Simmons Orr; and his brother Bill Orr. He is survived by: his children, Michael Orr (Amanda) of Chapel Hill, TN, Tammi Thompson (Timothy) of Murfreesboro, TN and Terri Dickens (Kerry) of Culleoka, TN; and his brothers, Ronnie Orr (Linda) of Columbia, TN, Steve Orr of Alabama and Dennis Orr of Columbia, TN. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home (609 Bear Creek Pike, Columbia, TN 38401). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
