It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Claiborne of Brentwood, Tennessee, who passed away on April 16, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Claiborne to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Elmer Claiborne and Avie Claiborne; his daughter Audra Dawn Claiborne; and his siblings, Gary Leon, Robert Elmer Claiborne and Shirley Ann.

He is survived by : his wife Karen D. Claiborne; his sons, James Darryl (Ashleigh) and Shawn Karl Claiborne (Alma); his granddaughters, Emmie, Natalie and Brianda; and his siblings, Thomas Claiborne, Margaret Claiborne Phillips and Virginia Claiborne Jackson.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Local Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses (710 New Hwy 96 W, Franklin, TN 37064). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, James requested that donations be made to further the worldwide Bible education work, a cause dear to his heart, at jw.org.
