He was predeceased by : his grandparents, William B., Vera W. Avril, Johnny R. and Lorene P. Pinson. He is survived by : his parents, James Wesley Avril, Sr. and Judith Pinson Avril; his pets, Jasper and Toby; and his close friend Angie. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in James' memory to the Nashville Children Alliance or Alive Hospice.
