We are sad to announce that on December 1, 2023, at the age of 93, Josephine Sikes Dent of Brentwood, Tennessee, born in Screven, Georgia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Josephine Sikes Dent to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Fulton Truman Sikes and Allie Green Sikes; and her sons, Thomas Vernon Dent and Robert Jerrell Dent (Jerry). She is survived by : her daughter Gail Dent Hoover; her daughter-in-law Sharon Donahue Dent; her grandchildren, Kevin Dent (Monica), Page Dent, Kellie Dent Ogelsby (Chuck), Melanie H. Graves, Michelle H. Peterson (Jim) and Zachary J. Dent; and her great grandchildren, Cole Dent and Nash J. Peterson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Alive Hopice, 1718 Patterson Street, Nashville, Tennessee 37203 and Wellington Place Assisted Living Facility, 209 Ward Circle, Brentwood, Tennessee 37027.
